I had to laugh out loud at your conversation. I could see my husband and I having the exact same conversation, with said blank stares from my husband.
I LOVE modern design, he loves Victorian/Rat pack design. I vote for the M as well.
Get the "M"...he'll end up loving it...it will look great with the black and white prints!...mom
